Christina DiChiara, M.S. was raised practicing yoga, meditation, and ayurveda. For as long as she can remember, Tina was told that she “is a citizen of the age of enlightenment, knower and bestower of knowledge.” At a young age, she learned transcendental meditation and yoga “asanas” (postures) from her father, who is also a practicing “vaidya” (ayurvedic doctor). Her upbringing followed ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle practices designed to support well-being and live in accordance with natural law. In 2004, Tina earned her a B.A. from Villanova University and completed the Wake Up Yoga Teacher Training Program. In 2006, she completed a 100-hour Prana Vinyasa Flow training with Shiva Rea. She has since completed a M.S. in Counseling and Clinical Health Psychology from PCOM in Philadelphia, where she is current enrolled in the Clinical Psy.D. program. She strives to incorporate evidence-based psychotherapy with mindfulness, yoga, and ayurveda for whole person healing. Tina is blessed and humbled by her most influential asana teachers, Corina Benner and Jill Manning, her Sanskrit teacher, Manorama, and most of all, her parents.
