What a gift you can give to yourself! Teaching early morning week long retreats have long been one of my favorite mediums for connecting to students through the practice of yoga. Each day you will rise before the sun and make a pilgrimage to your mat. This is not only an opportunity to immerse yourself in the material that is being offered, yoga, but a chance to immerse yourself with yourself.

If you have ever worked with the lovely Manorama you know that Wake Up Yogis have long been inspired by her teaching. This week long retreat is no different. Ma says, “In the first teaching there must be the seed of the final result.” Each morning will be a complete practice in and of itself and yet each practice will shed light and spread seeds for the practices to follow. Over the five days you will have an opportunity to play your own edges and see the “seed and the tree” so that you can continue to grow and spread the practice as long as you continue to meet it. Each morning we will observe conscious silence and join with sound, complex asana’s will reveal their seeds and you will know through the experience of how it feels to commit to the practice for even a small amount of time and forever be changed…from tree to seed and seed to tree.

This workshop is open to everyone coming with an open heart, curious mind, and prepared to sweat.

“I wanted to thank you so much for such an amazing, educational, and difficult week. I can't say that I didn’t go into it already enjoying and loving my practice, but this past week has seemed to spark something in my and awakened a deeper passion for yoga. It was a hard week and one that really brought me face to face with my edges. I think something that really clicked for me was the complexity of each pose, especially poses that I originally thought I had under my belt…..Your attention to detail takes the practice of yoga to a different level and one that is so informative.” ~Past Early Morning Retreat Student
